Wir haben an der kostenlosen Führung durch die Weinhöhlen teilgenommen. Sehr interssant. Danach ein Tasting zu einem guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr zu empfehlen. Diese Weingegend hat uns viel besser als Napa oder Sonoma gefallen.

Bella esperienza enologica californiana! Siamo nella zona di Alexander valley sicuramente qua si trova offerta più autentica rispetto a Napa dove è molto marketing. I vini erano tutti ottimi, provati sia la linea “premium” che quella standard. Il petite Syrah mi è rimasto impresso, anche Cyrus (loro top di gamma) molto interessante, sicuramente giovanissimo ancora ma tanto potenziale. Curioso (da toscano) vedere un rosato di sangiovese che sorprendentemente non era male. Se capitate nell’orario giusto fanno un tour gratuito delle grotte di affinamento

What a treat in the heart of wine country!

I love the accessibility of these wines. Affordable and absolutely delicious. Family owned for so long they can afford to keep their pricing modest.

The property is very much a working farm. Often people think of wineries as places only wine happens. This place boasts fruit trees, vegetable & flower gardens, and a culinary staff that uses these offerings to provide noshes for guests during vineyard tours. What a charming place.

The wine caves are something to behold. An acre of tunnels loaded with barrels. Interesting to see the difference between the older cave and the connecting newer sections.

Our tasting was guided by Pedro. So knowledgeable, studying for his WSET II. I believe he is third generation in his family to work with this family and their wines. That’s some history!

Fun visit during a toasty day in July. Simple and relaxed vibe, tasty wine selection, and interesting tour of the mercifully cool cave. Main callout though is Pedro, the team member who guided our tasting and tour. He was funny, knowledgable, and had a clear passion for the estate and art of wine making.

What an incredible experience at Alexander Valley Vineyards! This was a trip we will never forget and have been sharing pics with our friends and family since our stay. We enjoyed the beauty of the property, and had a thoughtfully curated wine tasting, followed by a tour of the wine caves. My husband and I had the opportunity to stay in the 1860’s schoolhouse, which is in the middle of the vineyard, surrounded by their farm, and stunning views. It was a surreal experience! The staff at AVV blew us away with their genuine hospitality and will be a definite destination for us on our returning trips!

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a wine tasting at Alexander Valley Vineyard, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. This family-owned and operated winery stands out as one of the most authentic gems in Sonoma.

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and could feel the passion and dedication that goes into every bottle. The setting is picturesque, surrounded by lush vineyards and beautiful landscapes that truly capture the essence of the region.

The wines themselves are a revelation. Each variety offered a unique taste, showcasing the careful craftsmanship and expertise of the winemakers. What impressed me most was the exceptional quality of the wines at such affordable prices. It's rare to find such a perfect balance of taste and value.

Alexander Valley Vineyard is a must-visit for any wine enthusiast seeking an authentic Sonoma experience. I can't recommend it highly enough and am already looking forward to my next visit!

This was such a lovely experience at a beautiful winery. We enjoyed a cave tour, the vineyard dog, the history lesson, the shop and the tasting of delicious wines along with our boxed lunch. Highly recommend.

We arrived as walk-ins. I have been visiting AVV for over 40 years! Have taken friends numerous times and several have joined the wine club. This visit yesterday was - joyless. The young lady that ran our tasting was disengaging and disingenuous. She even used a tired(!) old industry quote, “We think the wines sell themselves.”, in response to a comment I made. I worked in the industry for 20+ years as a controller. So…I’ve attended many a tasting and that quote literally says…I don’t really know why our wines are exceptional or approachable. The host also played with her noise ring while conducting our tasting. Disgusting behavior. It was just an overall bad experience and my guests were highly disappointed especially since I’d talk the place up as a must to visit. I won’t be back. I have found a new must visit spot in dry creek area.
