Had the plant-chicken bowl with a double-up for €16.95. It was a really good, healthy meal. The portion wasn’t huge but just right (and I’m a big eater). Everything was fresh and not oily. And the plant-based chicken, although fried, was yummy. I came at rush hour around 12:20 p.m. Took them around 20 minutes to prepare. The place can get very busy, so be prepared for the wait time.

Fantastic meal as part of a school visit to HAMBURG. They were able to cater lunch for 45 students at 12:00. We ordered food in advance. As soon as we arrived they had places ready for us and all the food was ready to serve when we arrived. They service was incredibly efficient and the staff were so welcoming. The food was fresh and the menu was varied. The decor of the restaurant was very cosy. I would definitely return for lunch...but without 45 students. Vielen danke!

3 years ago, during covid19, we all learned about proper hand sanitation.
In this shop, 1½ meter from servicecounter, you are forced to use their screen based selforder system and the "your meal is ready"-alarm brick. Obiously none of them or the tables have been cleaned that day.

Interaction between customer and servicestaff is nonexistent.

Food is good, the vegetables feels fresh - and the taste wouldn't offend anybody.

The Hafencity area, were the shop is situated, is a bit booring concreet hell. Rechnungsnummer 62283 31.07.25

I had a bowl with lots of vegetables, and it was delicious. The service was also very good, but what is left to do if you know what you want to have. I didn't like the music that much, but the bench that I could sit on was cozy and there were power sockets underneath.

WARNING: This parent company of Dean & David sues Google to take down reviews it thinks are too bad (or unreasonable in their eyes). It happened for my review using my other Google account. So, please take the rating with a grain of salt. It is much lower than shown.

REVIEW: my family did not like the food at the David & David. It is rather bland and uninspired. Definitely not worth the money. My advise it to go somewhere else.

I had breakfast here. I ordered a regular black coffee and a chicken sandwich. It was a generous quantity of coffee and their sandwich was delicious. It is also a budget-friendly option. Chicken sandwich was definitely worth it.

how on earth am I supposed to drink HOT tea from a glass without a tail and where is that even served like that. Not caring at all.
