The service is apparently not friendly towards Slovaks, all tables received bread with two types of butter except ours and they didn't even give us the amuse bouche that everyone received. The food & atmosphere was excellent, but due to the measured service we will definitely not return here.

First visit: Outstanding service, food and ambience. We were kindly received though it was fully booked, and we were lucky that a table became available the gentleman who attended us offered to accommodate us. The rest of the evening was one to remember. Delicious food, amazing drinks and lovely service from the entire staff. We will certainly recommend this restaurant to our friends and we look forward to be back 🤗
Second visit: This time we made a reservation for the Monday special, the surprise four course menu. And we couldn't have been happier! The dishes were outstanding: delicious and excellent presentation. The service was one again very friendly and attentive. Thank you and see you soon!

pre-booked a traditional bgld goose menu 🪿 - martini gansl.

soup was good, lots of garnish, liver pate also good.
main course, goose, was kind of tasteless, my leg (drum-stick) dry and very chewy, whole dish served in a smaller plate, meat on top of red cabbage, dumplings in/on the cabbage sauce, hard to eat.
deserts, lemon tarte and apple cake, very good.
wine pairing quite ok.
friendly staff, nice interior atmosphere, with more people later on getting full and also cosier, warmer.

our first visit, have been looking forward to it after great recommendations, disappointed now.
not so sure about a next visit, although our guests had previous excellent culinary experiences at ziegelwerk.

Good Restaurant, a bit higher priced for the area.

That the waiter was really puzzled when we asked if there was rice istead of the salad served with the dish was a bit strange.
