Very cosy place with great vegan food. Highly recommended. But make sure to check their Instagram account to get the right menu and their opening hours change during the year. But its absolutely worth a visit!

Beautiful cozy guest house with an abundance of greenery, flowers, as well as a small restaurant, where the owners prepare vegetarian food. My husband and I found this accommodation on Airbnb, stayed there for 4 days and did not regret a bit. The guys have provided us not only comfort and relaxation, but also communication! I recommend everyone to visit this place 🙂 There really is a rest!

A very cute spot with delicious cake! The plum crumble was amazing, and the lunch options looked yummy too. Perfect for stopping by on a cycle. Good service, owners very friendly.

A wonderful, cozy, clean, charming getaway just a little bit outside of Berlin. We stayed here for a week as a sort of work retreat, to get some fresh air and greenery outside of the Berlin cityscape. Annika and Hugo are amazing hosts who go out of there way to make you feel comfortable and provide awesome recommendations. They also make and serve amazing food in the adjoining restaurant. Just freakin' get here! Bring bikes or a car so you can move about a little more freely as public transport comes seldom.

Gasthof Falkenhorst is a retreat from Berlin, only 35 minutes away from Ostkreuz - a cozy getaway. 5 star recommendations for the hospitality and the delicious vegan food and cakes! Swimming access closeby and a lush forest to explore. We really enjoyed our stay in the Dach Wohnung attic apartment which was really spacious and had a nice balcony with views to the forest.

A fantastic hidden gem only 30mins from Berlin! We discovered this restaurant/Gasthof recently and have been coming back a few times since. Delicious hearty vegan food and cakes, nice cold beer, lovely sunny terrace and friendly staff. There are lots of beautiful lakes and forest close to the property which you can explore on foot or by bike. You can also rent an apartment on site if you want to enjoy a very relaxing break from the city's hustle & bustle. Dog friendly too! 🙂

Service is quick and friendly, hosts were very polite. Food is vegan, all fresh every day on a daily changing menu and exceptionally tasty (prices are very reasonable also). Highly recommended, also since the spree river is within a walking distance.
In conclusion- worth the trip outside of the noisy city centre!
