I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant!

The food is always exceptional and the staff is wonderful.

I’ve been numerous times(prob close to 10) since moving to Germany over a year and a half ago.

The only reason I docked the service is because they are so popular in the summer, they’re always busy… and location, only because I have to drive close to 30 minutes to get there.

Situated right off the main-donal canal with numerous hikes, bike rides, and castles nearby.

Even my family that has visited out of the country have requested to return!

Oh and the beer!! Grab a rotbier or helles. 😋

I ate at the restaurant and the food was incredible, the staff was polite & professional and the owner is a all around great guy! I loved the atmosphere and my family truly enjoyed themselves, I highly reccomend this place.

I had an exceptional experience at this hotel! Not only were the rooms impeccably clean and cozy, but the service was outstanding. In a rush during my business trip, I accidentally left my AirPods behind. To my surprise, the hotel went above and beyond by promptly sending them to me free of charge. The convenience and thoughtfulness displayed by the staff truly impressed me. Additionally, the onsite restaurant provided quick and delicious meals, adding to the overall convenience and enjoyment of my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for top-notch service, comfortable accommodations, and a delightful dining experience

The restaurant is located in a picturesque landscape. The food is very good and the staff very polite. They speak English or at least they understand. We had a trout, pork medallions with mushrooms and deer burger (influenced by French cuisine). The beer of the restaurant's brewery was excellent! If you want to discover a hidden non touristic restaurant typical of the Bavarian landscape, this is the place to go!

We had one of our best meals while visiting Bavaria. Our friend had stayed in the hotel before. It has a nice beer garden and top notch beer. I believe our waitress was Juliane who was very knowledgeable regarding the menu and super helpful. I have included photo's of our meals which were outstanding.

So, I'd give this 4.5 stars if that was an option, super place !! Breakfast was great, lots of selection, 2 kinds of eggs, bacon, all the cold cheese and meats, muesli, etc, fantastic coffee. Rooms were nearly brand new in the B&B, very clean, very nice. Wood floors in the whole building so sound carries a bit. Biergarten views and the beer were 5 stars, so gorgeous a place, and so solid their beers !! I would stay here again, it is right on the bike/walking paths along the Donau, so close to Kelheim and the sites, and so close to Kloster Weltenburg. For a nice side trip, his the thermal baths in Bad Abbach, for $10 you can soak outside in very clean wonderful spa/jacuzzi pools, great for after a day of biking or walking hard.

We stayed in room 8, a large, well designed, modern room with an extra sofa bed. My son had no trouble with his allergies. The bathroom is also new and spacious. Thank goodness there is wifi. The little touches like water bottles, beer candies, bathroom amenities (robes, toothbrushes) and local info clearly written in a handbook on the desk made our stay even better. We were able to rent bikes in town and explore Kelheim and Weltenburg. We are very happy here on the Danube canal.

The room was big and has lot of space. All furniture was very new and nice. The restaurant was ok and Schneider bier was excellent. We tried 4 different types. The location of the hotel is very interesting near by the river and some rocks. Nice stay for couples!
