I’m rating Krisp as a bodega not necessarily as a pizza / sub shop (although my partner loves grabbing a slice from them.) Krisp has a great selection of hard liquor, beers, ciders, and seltzers as well as a small amount of groceries as well. They’ve got great hours and are open most holidays too. Not a lot of parking so if you’re making a visit, it’s best to walk from wherever you are downtown.

Love this spot. Food is always fresh and their pizza is some of the best in SD. Well run, clean and the owners are amazing. Ask them to bring a new beer in they will. Keep up the good work.

Nice by the slice pizza selection or order a full pie, lots of delicious options and at a very fair price point! We took advantage of the two slice and a soda deal plus got some delicious wing's!! This will be a regular spot for a slice and wings! ?
The store also carries a great craft beer, liquor selection and some groceries.
I haven't tried the deli yet, but will soon!

Krisp has become my go-to spot for dinner. I can grab a couple slices of pizza or a meal that’s ready to eat, or I can get fresh meat and vegetables if I feel like cooking.

We have a major lack of grocery stores downtown, so thank you for being in the neighborhood, Krisp!

Read that they have gluten free pizza and needed a quick bite before a show, and they were fast (by the time we walked there it was ready). The pizza is made to order, the gf crust is soft and the pizza sauce tasted homemade, like pureed fresh tomatoes. Overall it was a good pizza. Nothing fabulous, but I would get it again for sure.

Best inexpensive, good pizza downtown in San Diego!
You cannot beat the price for two slices and a soda anywhere downtown and the pizzas are made fresh, right there on the spot!
Alex and the other pizzaolos are great!
Don't forget to try their calzone, subs and lasagna!
Their premade salads are pretty good too!
On top of that, their beer, wine and liquor selection is tops.
Great shopping for those of us who live in the area.
