The view from the Gipfelrestaurant Nebelhorn is absolutely beautiful on a clear day! The coffee was good, but quite expensive. The staff weren’t exactly unfriendly, just a bit short and not very warm. Still, it’s a nice spot to enjoy a drink with a great view.

Perhaps offering one of the most beautiful and dramatic vista of any restaurant on the planet. A really welcomed experience / service / place to sit, thaw out and take in the beauty of the Bavarian alps, from the Nebelhorn, in comfort. Much cheaper than I was expecting also.
Just jaw dropping, could have sat there for hours.
Food and drink options are limited and I heard it can get very busy but thankfully it was really quiet when I went (mid-week, mid-day, January).

Who cares about the view. Honest to God the best scrambled eggs I have ever had. The whole family agrees that just having breakfast here is worth the gandalo drive up. The classic Bavarien Weiswurst wasn't ready exactly when the restaurant open, we needed to wait 12min for it, but yet again it was worth the wait. The staff there were super nice, and the restaurant spotless clean.

We had the best cappuccino and the best view from up there. We enjoyed our time a lot there and the dessert was delicious. There were lovely birds coming wanting some crumbles in exchange of photos 😊

Built into the highest peak at Oberstdorf, this is an excellent viewpoint, full restaurant, and coffee bar. If you're an American skier you're going to love this place.

The infrastructure is really nice, you can relax after a good hiking or just take the lift and drink something watching the outstanding landscape. Since they have the lift to bring the food the price could be more friendly. The quality of the food is good for a bar.

Food is excellent, even a vegan options on the menu, choice of beverages (e.g. wine) is not good. Interior looks good, but is super uncomfortable. Self service is okay, very common in those mountain bars, however, there is one cashier operating in high season - no go. No usb-c charger, no freshly grounded pepper, shelfs to put clothes and particularly helmets just designed to small in some areas, Espresso watery, „Obstler“ without fruit. All the little things which make the difference are missing…I don’t get it… Total waste of time and money but the food.
