I like Only NY and own a bunch of items from them. But I don’t like that they don’t allow reviews on their site. I usually rely on reviews to know about the quality, sizing, likes/dislikes, etc. for any brand and find them extremely helpful and informative. I have a blue hoodie I purchased this summer from them and I’m pretty sure reviews would have warned me that it bleeds like crazy. I’ve washed it 3 times before throwing it in with my other clothes, and my newly blue-dyed clothes told me it wasn’t enough. It also turned the inside of my dryer blue, which I took a pic of. I’m not sure if it’s the dye or the dyeing process, but this hoodie is truly disappointing and wouldn’t have wasted my money on it. It’s given me issues that I think could’ve been avoided if they allowed reviews.

This place stinks. They made a lamp and created a whole bunch of buzz around it. With a release date / time, they had me waiting at their website, reloading until they unlocked the sale. Burning Man ticket style, I am refreshing constantly and got in on the :00 mark. Closed my sale within 2 mins of getting in and was able to order. Later in the day they cancel my order and say "sorry, we are sold out". They dont even offer to put me on te presale list they started due to the demand. I am over it

As Jared mentions in his review, here's how Only NY does business (like so many typical opportuni$t boutique$, "only NY" indeed): builds hype around a limited edition "drop," opens an ordering window, accepts orders up to a specific inventory limit, sends out order confirmations with time/date stamps proving actual order priority...and then sends out cancellations after going down that order list and discriminating in favor of "VIPs" and other arbitrary biases. In this lamp example, they claimed after the fact that they sold out in "minutes," but had sent out an invitation to order ten minutes after the drop, and kept accepting orders past then. In their fake cancellation e-mails, they blamed a computer malfunction: this excuse doesn't work in anymore in 2024. We all know that their ordering platform has a specific inventory limit, and stops taking orders (down to milliseconds) upon reaching it. My cancelled order was inside of the first minute orders opened, and my confirmation e-mail was stamped at the second minute.

As many, many others mention here too, their customer service is passive-aggressive: just generic cut-and-paste damage control after days of asking and following up. These aren't cool people with a downtown spirit; they're uptown capitalist entrepreneurs. Just so you know, and caveat emptor.

This is a fraud shop, please keep your eyes open. I bought a few hats on their official website.
A month passed without receiving it. When the order has just been shipped, it will reply to my email.
After a month, the status of express logistics has not been updated. I contacted them to ask them to help deal with the express problem, but they did not reply.
I emailed them to cancel the order and refund my money, and they didn't reply.
Instagram messaged them and didn't respond.
Now I don't know what to do. I already paid for it!
I feel like I'm dealing with a fraud.
Please refund my money! Somebody help me

Support local brands!
So onlyNY is one of my go to's. Love their collab's with city agencies. Only thing I don't like is that in the past some of their stuff was produced domestic. Now it's all imported.

My wife and I first shopped at this location back in the summer. We loved it! Then we visited this same store last week and loved it again!

We were assisted by the same person twice by the name of Zack. He really knows his products and is a great multitasker. We had a great conversation about pretty much everything.

His associate by the name of Ken was also just as awesome. Super friendly just like Zack. Made us feel so welcome.

The products are also so great. Quality materials and we could tell would last a lifetime! Give this place a visit and super credits and props to Zack and Ken!
