Run by a friendly Croatian crew, "Peter's Treff" offers not only an appealing local environment but also a diverse menu full of delicious delights.

Let's start with the pizza! It was nothing short of fantastic, and without a doubt, one of the highlights of our visit. Each slice was a marriage of crisp crust, tangy tomato sauce, and perfectly melted cheese. Their beef dishes also deserve a mention, with the flavors beautifully marinated and cooked to perfection, embodying the heartiness that you'd hope for after a long day of exploring the mountainous trails.

The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant and homey, which in itself is a great way to wind down after a day filled with adventure. The staff were courteous and engaging, their warmth making up for the occasional delays we faced during our meal. Yes, they were a little short-staffed on the day of our visit which resulted in us having to wait longer than usual for our food and drinks. However, they more than made up for it with their heartfelt apologies and sincere efforts to keep us comfortable.

Despite the waiting time, I'd definitely recommend "Peter's Treff" to any fellow traveler seeking a unique dining experience in Kirchberg. Just make sure to take the understaffing into account and plan a little extra time for your visit, especially if you're coming in after a long hiking trip like we did.

Although it was very busy all the staff were really nice. None of them spoke English but we communicated perfectly well. The bar person was extremely attentive even though she was rushed off her feet. Very professional!
