A Truly Memorable Stay at Schmidtburger Hof

I visited Schmidtburger Hof on a business trip, but it turned out to be an unexpectedly amazing experience. Nestled in a quilet German village, the hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere with beautiful surroundings
The hotel itself was wonderful - the room was spotless and very comfortable. What truly stood out for me was the restaurant, The food was exceptional, made with such care and attention that each meal felt special.
Another unforgettable detail was the sound of the church bells ringing every morning and at 7 p.m. each evening- a charming touch that made re fall in love with the place even more.
I felt genuinely happy during my stay, and if 1 ever get the chance, 1 would love to retumn with my whole famnily. Thank you for such a heartwarming and delightful
experience.

What a great place. I loved the room, the sauna, and the food in the restaurant. The surroundings have some nice hikes to offer and the team offered very useful tips of what to see and do. The rooms are well-appointed, the sauna area is phenomenal, and the food was off the charts good. Will be back.

The hotel is a out 45-60 mts from Mainz and Wiesbaden and therefore well situated for city visits and peaceful evenings. Rooms are simple and straightforward but very comfortable, the location is perfect for peaceful surroundings and long summer walks around he vines.|The restaurant is great, good food and of course local wine is offered, good value and a good wide selection to suit many tastes. I can imagine sitting outside in the summer, in the variety of cozy corners with a glass of wine, must be dry relaxing….||The only gripe is the inconsistency in hot water during a shower…a) it is not hot and b) during use it kept going cold. Of, and following a great dinner the breakfast feels a little bit of a let down, very small and not specifically memorable with a little choice, no labels for milk, juice, yoghurt, meat, a only egg for warm….

We have just returned from staying at the Schmidtburger Hof for three nights after discovering an ancestor lived locally and finding relations living nearby. This connection made things warm and friendly but no one would need such bonding to have a wonderful time here. The service is superb . Friendly and yet professional . Rooms and apartments are clean and a good size. The wine is fantastic and so is all the food on offer . Breakfasts offer much choice and everything is so fresh. The owners and staff are excellent. There is a local bus service with a stop a few minutes walk away. These connect with local train services so travellers can get anywhere in a reasonable time. Prices are very friendly to the British wallet at the moment too. This is a very atmospheric place to stay , in what is a beautiful part of the Rheinland Pfalz. All rooms are very quiet at night too , so sleeping won't be a problem .

I stayed 2 nights in July for business at the Schmidtburger Hof. The rooms are very spacious and also the bathroom. Furniture is new and everything is very clean. The place is very quite so that one can really rest. It has also a great restaurant with a garden so after an entire working day you can relax outside in the garden and drink a beer and have dinner. Service is great and also the breakfast was plenty and very good. I definitely recommend it!

This place is the greatest. |Rooms are with bathroom and it is all clean and fresh. Staff and owner are really service minded and will make your stay incredible. The breakfast is included, the food and wine is so good. Prizes are human. Some dates they have live music in the bar, and family buffet days. I can highly recommend a stay here, and we will for sure come back ! 👍🏻|Ina & Tom|

As the title suggests, this was our third visit to the Hof , with another coming up soon. We cannot keep away . I have an ancestor who came from Monzingen to settle in London but even without such bloodlines this is a beautiful hotel with wonderful apartments in a separate block. Everything is quality here , including the hostess Christel who is fantastic. Her daughters help run a well organised restaurant and winery. This venue is so good that I begrudge writing a revue in case I cannot get booked in next time ! Breakfasts are superb and the wine is delicious. The apartments are fitted out very well and contain virtually everything you could need. I love cooking a few meals as the local supermarket ( Rewe) in Bad Sobernheim is a must for anyone self catering , it is very well stocked with local and international food and drinks. The local people are very friendly and a great holiday here is guaranteed .
