Excellent food and plenty of seats. The only place where they served fish gulasch in this area. Easily accessible by foot, ski or gondola.

Great place to eat, super fast service, we literally received drinks, mains and dessert within minutes.
Portions are big. I actually liked it a lot but just wanted to give feedback on the salmon pasta- penne was overcooked and too salty, the sauce was too watery, also smoked salmon doesn’t really fit well here. I don’t know, not the greatest meal.
But the entrecôte was good and worth trying out.

Nice place, super big ! Inside and outside next to the lake and lift.
Waiters super nice, welcoming and friendly. Food service quite fast. But food not super super good. Took the cordon bleu and the ham inside was too fat, and too oily. But the soup was good.
Try to avoid the rush hour 🙂

Huge restaurant with a great playground attached. Kind and fast service. Both the fish and chips & veal shank with bread dumpling were extremely tasty! Very large portions, exactly what you need after a long day hiking.

Very large restaurant with good food and friendly personnel. A bit expensive and crowded though. Terrace is also used for people walking from and towards the lake area, so it's always busy. If you don't mind that, it's a great place to sit down and enjoy your meal. If you prefer a bit quieter place. I would recommend the Hög Alm, just a few steps further away from the lake

Meeting point and in the middle of fun and adventure park on the Hoeg lake. Direct on the cable car...parents and as well childs can got food and drinks and relax after hicking tour or only to celebrate and enjoy alp view

The staff was very crass and borderline rude. .I wanted a beer . And to be honest, It's kind of shocking that you can't have a beer outside of this place right next to where you can swim. That being said, they told me the rules. And when I asked for a beer after I understood the rules, they questioned me alot.... they wanted to me to verify where I was sitting. They did this to make sure that I wouldn't take their beer glass outside of the Restirant., and it honestly felt like I was being interrogated a little bit, The staff was a little too excited about the small bit of power they have over their customers and they weren't even nice about it. They were kind of arrogant, so if you come here to swim. You will have to come here if you want a drink at this swimming hole. And it's just not a very pleasant experience. Austrians and Austrian businesses are very good. The vibe this place has doesn't fit with how tirol is. And i know how tirol is i've been coming here for over a decade. What they should do is have some kind of deposit system that allows you to have a plastic glass that lets you walk around the lake.
