Don't get me wrong about food: we only drunk beer. I orderes a weiss and a Lager. The Lager was coreect but the weissbier had some kind of acidity not normal for the style. I rejected the glass for a possible infection but the boss said that that flavour was normal and charged the full price. If that's the normal taste of this beer, my recommendation is DONT DRINK THE LOCAL WEISSBIER. Drink something else.

Great ambience, very friendly staff and the food was delicious. The seasonal Pumpkin pasta during the fall months is a must try! Do drop by for a special time here..

There is no English menu, but the staff can translate the menu for you. Visited 3 nights in a row and tried a different main course each night.

I found this at random, it's a blink and you may miss it moment but what a place!

It's located up some stairs in a small shopping mall in Wels and I'm so glad my friend Googled it because we were very impressed with the service, location, and food.

It has a Bavarian type bar vibe, but looks very upmarket, it's location gives it not much space but it feels spacious and you don't feel you're sitting amongst other customers, within seconds someone was already taking our orders and then a couple minutes later the drinks arrived of which we ordered food.

The food that arrived was a medium / large portion, it was fresh, hot and enjoyable and after two check-ins from our server who couldn't of been friendlier, we finished our food and we stayed around and chatted and politely the server checked if we wanted the bill and we declined, but when we were finished talking he couldn't of been friendlier about us paying up and settling up the bill.

I'm super-impressed with this place and I even took a picture of the cool beermats to remind myself to post a review, it's in a smaller city in Austria but we need to shout about these smaller businesses in these smaller cities so they can thrive.
