I'm a repeat customer and I was trying to buy a couple sets of uniforms, socks and shoes with my debit card, not a credit card, and he stopped me because he demanded to see id. Even after I showed him the ID, he still denied the purchase. The guy said no to $500 worth of sale. That's so crazy to me.

Always shop at the Elmont Work N Gear but didn't have my size, Freeport store had the size I needed but the 2 employees at the Freeport store extremely friendly had my boots at the counter. Had no issues when showing the online price plus the $10 dollar off when you spend over $50. Usually stores like to give you one or the other but the store was more than happy to give me both savings.

It’s ok. I’m tall but have a small waist. This place never has enough sizes for me and if they do it’s 5-10$ more money on top of the higher prices. Very limited selection and service is to be desired. Not my first choice to get gear. I work in the ER and sometimes have to run in for something quick. They close early. No help. I have to drive to another place for better service and selection that’s cheaper with better quality

Prices are good and its a great place to go for uniforms. Went to buy Scrubs for Nursing. Good selection. They have everything as far as uniform related.

They have a lot of working gear as the name suggests. I found they carry a lot of more expensive items including work uniforms, boots, hardhats, scrubs, and other things one might need for work. The guy working there (possibly the owner) seemed rude when I asked him for something specific.
